Our Company Story
Alma Armada & Company Ltd. is a Calgary-based immigration consulting firm, serving clients across Canada and around the world. Since 2008, our team has handled thousands of immigration applications. We have supported more than a thousand temporary foreign workers through their Canadian work permit applications, including open, closed, bridging, spousal, and vulnerable worker permits.
We also work directly with employers. We have helped hundreds of Canadian businesses facing labour shortages find qualified workers, guiding them through recruitment, advertising requirements, and the Labour Market Impact Assessment process when a role cannot be filled locally.
On the student side, we have helped hundreds of international students begin post-secondary and graduate studies, and we maintain partnerships with schools and universities in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries. That network means we can help a student find a program and a destination that fit their field, their budget, and their long-term plans.
Working with a licensed consultant
Our immigration consultants are licensed members in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). In Canada, only three groups may legally charge a fee for immigration advice: lawyers and paralegals in good standing with a provincial law society, Quebec notaries, and consultants licensed by the CICC.
Why authorized representation matters
That licence is what allows us to communicate with the Government of Canada on your behalf and represent you in your application or hearing. IRCC will not deal with paid representatives who are not authorized, and an application filed through one can be returned or refused.
